Interesting that the total removal flights have not really gone up by much compared with the rhetoric coming out of the Trump administration.

Why are so many flights out of Albuquerque NM, it’s more than all the flights out of Texas combined. It also seems like places like Guatemala and Honduras get more than one flight per day.

(and a preemptive defense of my substantiveness here: This is one of the exact arguments used by the fascists (aka autocratic authoritarians if you're triggered by the F-word) as if it might constitute a serious argument in an open society based around individual liberty. It is important that we resoundingly mock it)

      > It prioritizes the state and nation over the individual, demanding total loyalty to a dictatorial leader, and relying on the violent suppression of opposition, strict social regimentation, and intense militarism.

Wasn't Trump elected democratically? Also pretty sure opposition is not violently suppressed, unless they are throwing rocks or blocking roads. Though the police force does have a bit of a hint of militarism going on in the gear.

Many dictators were elected democratically. What's the relevance?

        > Also pretty sure opposition is not violently suppressed, unless they are throwing rocks or blocking roads.

Which of these got Alex Pretti killed?

      >Fascists

Just call them what they are: totalitarian-authoritarian personalities[1], whose roots lie deep in the desire to be free of the perceived "filth of others".

These personalities aren't the real human being - they're a facade created by the human to shield themselves from 'infection'. The totalitarian-authoritarian personality is a meme which can be triggered in, basically, any human being with a fundamental fear of un-cleanness. Nationalism is merely a matter of hygiene, at a group level.

What triggers it, will also un-trigger it[2]. Keep flinging filth at them until they wake up from their totalitarian stupor. Fling their own filth at them. Show them this website, let them know they are being tracked by the "Truly Clean™", and that - one day, when they start respecting human rights - they will be treated to nice, clean, freshly laundered and steam-pressed human rights, also. Until then, treat them as they wish to treat others: with disrespect, ridicule, degradation and other forms of filthy human intercourse. Eventually, such 'filth' will pierce their totalitarian-authoritarian personality shield, and they'll beg for the human rights they were denying others...

The word for that is "fascist."

Fascism is a loaded word that will get completely negated by glib idiocy.

Totalitarian-authoritarian personality is more fitting, because in fact as a personality it can arise in any individual - not just those wearing brown shirts and marching around in jackboots, seeking conformity with a clean ideal.

Totalitarian-authoritarianism is a meme - a kind of virus, which can be just as easily discarded as it can infiltrate a social organ.

          Fascism™ ~= Totalitarian-Authoritarianism©

Fascism is a mark of trade of the totalitarian-authoritarian personality, who demands the right to be copied (in order to attain conformal cleanliness).

You can find it in yourself, if you care to look - but you may (or may not) be identifiable as a fascist.

The broader issue is that absolutes are unattainable. It is absolutely impossible to have a clean society, free of the filth of others. We humans depend on filth to perpetuate our species.

Sure, boot out the fascists if you feel that is keeping you un-clean. But in so doing, you will establish your own totalitarian-authoritarian personality. The key is not to resist - it is futile - but rather, instead, replace. The solution to any totalitarian order is simply to build another one, right on top.

It's a fair point that it's become one of those words that doesn't really _mean_ anything anymore in common discourse. Like Marxism. For all intents and purposes, Marxism is basically "anything I don't like that's left of center."

I mean, anyone who claims with any level of seriousness that Democrats are Marxist have _zero_ clue what that means.

Or crypto fascist; that’ll have them threatening to sock you in the face if Buckley’s any example.
