  Strategy's strategy was a leveraged gambit built around the assumption that bitcoin would continue to rise.

  This basic assumption is failing and as with most leverage schemes, it works both ways. Losses are amplified in the same way as any gains.

  As the largest bitcoin holder, the failure of Strategy's strategy would undoubtedly be highly detrimental to bitcoin prices.
